OBJECTS OF ARRESTING NOVELTY. This project was made in my first year, representation class.

JAMES WHITE PROJECT.  This project was done in my 4th year Ecological thinking class. It is a collage that trys to portray the relationship that James White of Knoxville (both the person and the parkway) have with their victims (the Hillabee people and the Berry cave Slamander).

GANDO PRIMARY SCHOOL CASE STUDY MAQUETTE.  This project was done in my 2nd year Tech class. It is a Basswood model of the Gando Primary School located in Burkina Faso, Africa. And designed by a firm called Kere Architecture.

Townhouse Garden 

I designed this townhouse in one of my plant sciences landscape design classes. we were only supposed to design a garden using Native plants for the project. I was a 5th year arch major taking an intro to landscape design class as an elective so I decided to also design the townhouse itself.

Floating Wetlands

This project was done in my sustainable landscape construction class. we designed and built one section of it in a group of 3. But all of these drawings and sketches that are shown were produced by me.

 

Time Lapse, Photo-joiner 

I made this image for a project in my representation class. the goal of the project was to join photos in a way that portrayed the passage of time. It features Ayres hall and the construction of the Mossman building at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville

PAVILLION IV 

this was done in on of my 2nd year studios for David Fox. It is a very abstract exploded view/collage of a 3D model I made of Jefferson’s Pavillion IV located on the lawn of UVA

LA TOURETTE SCHEMATIC  STUDY 

in my 2nd year studio, I made a 3D-model and some drawings of Le Corbusiers’ La Tourette 

PULL DOWN SHELF.  This project was made in my furniture design class. we were tasked with designing piece of furniture to act as a companion piece for a chair of our choosing. I chose to make a pull down shelf as a companion piece for Herman Miller’s Aeron chair.

BLACK IRON PIPE RAILINGS     Someone asked me if I could build them a railing / handlebar for their steps and after the first one was built someone else saw it and reached out to me to see if I could do a similar railing design for a guard rail in their garage

3D PRINTED LAMP     This project was also made in my Furniture design class. we had to design a piece that used 3D printed joints.

ABSTRACT LAMP COMPONENTS  I got the idea for this image on accident while working on the 3d lamp  using the components of the lamp to make a more abstract picture.

In a project for my 3rd year Representation class I studied paper wasp nests and this was a physical model I made out of cut up paper plates 

APARTMENT LIFE 

This drawing was done in one of my representation classes where we had to make a plan perspective of where we lived. 

A SEA OF INSTAGRAM 

This image was created for on of my professional elective classes. I went along with another project we did where we had to take words and phrases used in vogue magazines and make a story with them. of the the phrases that I took was “lost in a sea of instagram” it is meant to portray how it feels doomscrolling through the endless divisive content that is on Instagram and the goldfish with its 10 second memory is there to represent the short attention 10 second attention span that people have when looking at a post while scrolling
